March 2020

Like the rest of the world, my family is in quarantine. It’s been 5 years since my dad, my mom, my sister, and I are all living under the same roof. We are surviving in this confined space without being able to leave the house except on a short walk around the block, all the while trying to maintain some sense of normalcy that is now varied from person to person. In this project, I capture a sense of normalcy in this abnormal time, in an Asian and patriarchal family living in suburban Massachusetts.
